 It's a 912....and looks as rotten as it gets!

Can it really be worth that much?

And I thought the Carrera Targa was rusty !

Not clea\r what you could really slavgae from that, but you would be a brave soul to take it on ?

I would like to see the invoices to backup the 12K

That price gives me hope for selling the Targa rolling shell :-)

Looks like a good parts car, all the trim, bumpers, lights and interior seem to be inside the car, 912 engine, gearbox, new exhaust in place, bonnet and wings look solid.

Exactly what I was thinking. Not exactly bargain of the century but I've seen a lot worse go for a lot more

i reckon they spent 12,000 grand on booze and women! I saw that, also noticed its a 912, im guessing the highest bidder didnt get that lucky (i.e didnt notice) cause if they did what where they thinking! a nice revival 912 went for half that price a few days later

I think I know who bought that actually. Its a PCGB member I was talking to who used to restore Porsches for a living in the '80s and ran Ashling Restorations. I knew the name of his company because it was on the same road as my parents' house. He's doing this one as a hobby project with his son. Not 100% sure this is the car but it matches the description he told me it was incorrectly advertised as a 911.
