Mike, were there any rhd 73 rs's in Irish green,think it would look stunning,obviously not as good as black.

You are in a right RHD mood tonight Andy.

OK I misread the post. In fact there are no RHD Irish green RS's, all LHD which is quite a suprise really wouldn't you think as it was the nearest to British Racing Green popliar at the time (as Steve Wright would say.) Like I said, 12 in total. Most to West Germany, one to Switzerland and a couple to Portugal.

Now not being one to criticise...but I reckon the wording of the ad does not much justice at all to the sale Helen! Hope you don't mind me saying. A better worded ad with caps at the beginning of sentences and the abandoned description of what happened when the engine was checked over finished. And well just a bit more selling to do justice to such a fantastic car.

why should i be offended.

all advice gratefully recieved. i am useless at writting adverts for cars, as i am way too honest. i will proberly just end up trading this car into a dealer.

i have no idea what you mean

engine was taken apart cleaned, new manifold fitted, gearbox re-built and it was all put back togeather again. if anyone whats to know full details then they will have to come and look at the paperwork because theres noway i can list all the £28k of work that Tuthills did to this car.

You'd expect an "and" as in ... and it had a clean bill of health. After a good clean and detail it now looks the part as well as performing superbly.

I have taken the liberty of re-arranging the words and making a few mods. Again, just trying to help, feel free to tell me to get lost!

The wheels have been beautifully refurbished by Nick Moss at Early 911 and have new tyres fitted.

This is a stunning and well cherished example of one of the great early 911s but it’s time for a change. So I am looking for a suitable owner for this great car! Offers in the region of £49,000.

I also think that there could be more detail regarding the engine rebuild. Also not sure if it's matching numbers or whether there is any suitable info about the car's engine/box history.

Thanks Graham, i like that.

can't give alot more info about engine re-build as Tuhills just basically did what ever needed to be done to make sure it was working as a 20ltr 911S should.
it was more of a 911T before which if i am honest suited me better. now its a real 911S screamer. which i know is what you boys love.

when i got the car back i had major problems with the electric (never any problems before) which Tuthills washed their hand from any responsability for. luckily for me DDK's very own Tim Bennet came around and sorted it all out. it's done over 2,000 completly trouble free miles since then.

will concider a p-ex with a modern 911.
