What's with all the weird-ass Land Rovers recently?

This belongs to someone I occasionally work with:

Engine is a more predictable Rover V8 with auto box. It's made up of half a dozen bits of car but it looks frikkin sick.

frikking sick is not even the start of it!! That is just so fantastic. I'd love one of those. A Japanese mate of mine has done a really cool job on an early model Landcruiser he cut the top off, but this leaves it for dead. Wow!

Speaking as someone who has two Land Rovers (family wagon Discovery 3 and a new Defender 90 XS for me to tool around in) I love 'em!

Ok, not everyone is going to like them, but I think they are pretty cool in a "what the ****!" kind of way - I'd love one of them in the garage for fun days!

I am really going to be a grumpy old man here...I hate with a passion what seems to be the current fad of lowering everything. I particularly disklike lowered beatles and camper vans.

Ahhhhhhh, breath, that's better!

Sorry guys, but it's a really big thing with me...saw a VW camper van this morning so low it was virtually scraping on the ground.

However, you will be please to know that my condition is treatable...it all harks back to my early years when the top of the rear strut mounts on my (very rusty) 2002 fell apart accidentally lowering the rear of the car!

So every time I see a lowered car I have stress-related flash backs! It's the sight of those wheels all the way up in the wheel arches. I'm all hot and cold just describing it!

back to my therapist...
