They should have fitted a 1200cc VW motor in it then it would go like a piece of shite as well as looking like a piece of .. .. ..

I saw this car in the flesh a couple of months ago when I collected a VW camper from his son to repair it.
I'm going to get shredded for saying this.... but actually it does look better than in the pictures and indeed, seems like a very well made kit car.
Now, before you rush to your keyboards, it's certainly not to my taste and of course it's not going to find many friends amongst us lot, we can all realise that. But for your average kit car kinda guy, it's surely a whole load better than any of those Ford escort / Morris marina equipped bone shaking "Spartan" type monstrosities.
As for the £25k price tag, I got the impression that the advert's a fishing trip and he would actually take a lot less than that.
Also, it might come in handy in a number of ways. Perhaps if you broke your ironing board. Or if you ran out of kitchen worktop and positively HAD to roll out some pastry.

That's maybe why it's now advertised for £17500.
