Harry Pellow engine info?

Trying to track down some info on my engine. It is a 912 unit believed to have been rebuilt by Harry Pellow (due to the HCP research sticker on the fan housing) however the previous owner had no paper work to prove this so I have no idea when it was rebuilt or to what spec it may have been built. I would quite like to trace the history of the engine if possible and I believe Harry was quite meticulous at logging every engine number that passed through his hands. Obviously I can no longer contact the man himself, I have tried contacting Mary Pellow through the HCP website but I just got an automated response directing me to the online shop. I was wondering if anyone in the 356/912 world might be able to offer me some more leads on how to trace its history?
Thanks
Tim

It is not listed in his book. it appears to have been built by the factory in month 9 or 10 year 1968. Does it have a case casting number ?

Timo
the Maestro's Little Spec book lists the case numbers worked on by Harry - however, the copy that I have was published in 1990 so I assume yours was worked on since that date.

David - Thanks for looking, I will have a look for the case number when I get chance.
Ian - Thanks, do you know if there were any more recent publications of the spec book which mine may be included in?

I don't know to be honest - I bought mine about 10 years ago so it would have been about 10 years old then.
may be worth an email to HCP research and see what they have to say.

Yep thanks David, my case number is indeed 616/40. Anyone else have any post revision 2 info that may help track my mystery engine?
