Curborough Track Day 20th May - £50 (or less!) - Whole day

A friend of mine has booked Curborough sprint track for the day on 20th May. Due to a round of redundancies where he works he is now short of a few people to make the day pay for itself.

SO...

Please let me know if you would like to come along. I'd need a firm yes that you can commit to rather than a 'might be interested' so he can plan numbers properly.

Current plan is 10 cars total at £50 each. If we get a few more the price comes down accordingly, up to a limit of 15 cars. Road silenced cars only, but no db limit as such.

I need to confirm the details of the start / finish times for the day and the exact layout we will use, but it sounds like some fantastic track value on the tight technical circuit.

email me at work: gary.suggate@bentley.co.uk

Thanks :)

BTW, David Pattison, who organises the track at Curborough is the "P" in PCT, the Porsche specialists in Birmingham, so knows his early Porsches AND his way around Curborough! 8)

Cheers!

A fair point :)

However it's not a long way from Brum, do you reckon Graham fancies bringing the Lola out for a shakedown!

I think it's a bit early yet for the Lola - he's too busy enjoying the 911 Bitza. :bom:
I've given Dave Bennett a dig about this, he lives just 3 miles away!
Come and see us at Shelsley this coming week-end if you're free.

I understand Matt, luckily we have introduced a flexitime system here as part of the pay cut  So I've been building up hours to then take the day off.

Any more takers?

We need one more firm commitment to get the 10.

Don't miss it! :)

Count me in

never driven a car in anger on a track so this will be my first time.

I had a trawl through the internet and there is some interesting\hilarous footage of cars going around the track.

let me know the details.

cheers

Hi Serhad,

Cool :)

It's a great first time track as it's fairly slow (relatively) so even if you mess up it's hard to get it that wrong!

I'm trying to find out the exact times, but essentially it's the whole day, as many runs as you want, one car on track at a time. Meet at the track entrance. There are toilets (of a form... ), but no catering.

On the money side we do need a firm commitment on payment (even if you don't turn up) as otherwise it could get expensive really quickly for those that do. It's an individual booking so hope you understand.

What are you driving?
