Why does this name ring a bell with me off this site ??
Spelling is correct (I have his headed notepaper here in front of me - dated 12.1.93) ....... long story
"Vintage Vehicle Specialist" quote ..... Beaminster , Dorset , address
Is he here ?
I have something belonging to him that needs returned !

I'm not really sure what you're asking ...
- are you asking if Barrie Carter of Bearminster is a DDK member ?
I think it's unlikely as from what I remember, that Barrie Carter was (mainly) an MG specialist.

Yes , is he a member on here , does anyone know anything about him , is he still trading ? He would be in his late 60's now - approx.
He was trying to sell me a 2300 Fiat Rallycar at the time.

Yes, I think he's still trading, and in fact I certainly spoke to him about an Austin Seven rolling chassis around three years ago.
We chatted for a bit, and I mentioned we shared a name (spelling aside), and he mentioned there was yet another one (a Barrie I think he said, rather than the poorer Barry's you find
), another classic car fellow, but this time in Kent somewhere.
Just too common we are ....
