I am considdering this car:
http://photoshare.shaw.ca/messages/view ... page/1/15/
49.000 miles, documented history, matcing #, overhauled engine and gearbox + suspension and brakes. Rust and damagefree.
Pricelevel is USD 22.000,-.
Located nearer the west than the east coast in Canada...might be expensive to ship to Europe.

it looks from a distance like a well cared for vehicle. History is a bonus, but the package could potentially give you many happy years. Winters can be fierce in Canada, but not likely that the car has been out in it.
Erm, just realised its canadian dollars making it an asking price of 13400 EUROS + shipping + danish import taxes?
In English, my conclusion would be that it looks REALLY attractive. In european language: You'd be mad to let this slip.
But try to get a Pre Purchase Inspection done by a Canadian porsche club member.
Good luck,
Bert

Thanks for your comments.
It's actually USD, thus the price equals Eur 17.000,- or ca. GPD 16.000,-.
The main unknown is the shipping costs. I will check first thing in the morning.
The seller is a long standing Canadian Porsche Club and Pelican member. He will very likely be very famailar with any PCA member within a radius of 100 miles. Can I contact the PCA directly asking for advice?
