Sebring Exhaust Problem

Has anyone else got a Sebring Exhaust?
Have you been told by lots of engine builders that the exhaust is not right?
Have you been told that it damages the valve seats?
Have you been told that its opening is to wide and that after the middle boxs is not long enough?
Has anyone informed the supplier of this exhaust?
Has anyone tried to fix this issue?
I had advised a friend about the problems with the Sebring and he just sold his on to the USA and got a sport exhaust.
I have seen in the Duane Spencer book that he does mention the Sebring style exhaust but does not say anything about problems.
Any exhaust experts out there?

Mine works fine.
Sounds good.
Looks period.
Evidently not damaged the valves or seats on it's current strip down.
No negative feedback at my local specialist or MoT peddler.
No issues other than upsetting my bolshy-arse neighbour. Which was worth the outlay completely just to know that his collection of Wade whimsies are rattling off the sideboard with every rev...
I ran a Sports exhaust before buying the Sebring-style stainless and matching J-pipes from KK. I've seen no difference between the two other than the engine revs a lot freer and higher with the Sebring - and sounds so much better through the Blackwall tunnel

Andy Prill had fitted one to a twin plugged engine when we were down there on his open day - I'm guessing he'd know if there was a problem with them and would avoid them if there was?

They will not do any damage to valve seats or any other part of the engine
We have never carried out any testing with Pushrod Motors (we have with Carrera Motors) but my gut feeling is that the pipes are much too short
I very much doubt that they produce more power - they produce a nicer sound which leads customers to believe that they have more power
Like all other parts of the motor - in the design of an exhaust system you have to make a decision where you want your Power and Torque to be produced
You will never know whether they are doing an Efficient Job unless you do back to back testing with other units on a Dyno or rolling road
Take a look at the boys racing Pushrod 356`s - No one uses this arrangement - perhaps there`s a reason?

Nice 1 long time lurker. I wanted mine dyno but had problems with carbs so had to wait for webers and missed my chance.
What spec is your engine? and what results did you get?
I was hoping to get more than the standard 90hp from mine which has 1750 big bore, s90 heads, straight cut gears, neutek 1 cam and cps light rods, and now weber 40s with 32 venturi and of course the sebring.
