I bought a yellow 1976 2.7 lhd lux on cookies in 1985 from a fellow ex-pat in Kuwait as my first car (ever) when i was 21 and have been sadly afflicted ever since.

The poor old car followed me back to uk and thereafter all over europe for the next 10 year and morphed into a 3ltr IROC Rep in white With Carrera 3 lump and box that i bought one night from a very affable but slightly shady dutchman. The engine had spun a bearing so started my first full engine re-build.I have since done 2ltr(914\6),2.2,2.4,2.7RS,3.0,3.0RS& 3.3T so you could say i like playing with engines.I have also done a few 915 boxes but am strictly Syncro\dog teeth sort of guy...lol.

My 2.7\3.0 ltr Rep and i sadly parted company in Norway in about 95 ,cause i had children and a wife to feed by then .If anyone out there knows what became of it i would be very interested .

In 1990 when the bottom dropped out of the economy muggins decided to do a 2.7RS rep from a bare shell so in the interests of continuity and development i think now is a good time to do a 3(.3)ltr RS rep .

I am currently toying with building a 3.3Ltr MFI Lump on a turbo base so i will hopefully be posting something in the near future.

I have done a little bit of racing (slowly) over the years and like many with that interest i am not very precious about originality, while i admire and enjoy some of the "original" car i would much rather see any 911 original or rep driven as God and Ferry intended, with the brakes and oil hot and a smile plastered all over the drivers mug.

Best regards to all Mike
