Roy - that link takes us to your photobucket account - to post the picture directly here you need to:

Click on 'full size'

Then right click on the picture, select 'properties' from the drop-down menu & copy/paste the address here (between Image codes

Hey guys,

I need help!! The photo did not appear on my post. I have the photo all okay on the photobucket website. I copied what seems to be the URL and posted this between the IMG codes.

I am a bit at a lost to know why it didn't happen. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi

just cut the direct link ( not thr url) from photobucket, press the Img tag on the DDK post page and paste the drect link after the img then press the img tag again, just note that the first time you press the img tag it puts a [img]and%20the%20second%20time%20you%20press%20it%20it%20gives%20you%20a[/img] ie the end one has a / these have to be the correct way round if you have a [/img] at the front of the link it will not post the pic.

Nice car by the way 8)

okay Andy and JohnM,

Back for another try. You will have to bear with me if it fails again. I have gone through the instructions and seen the actual full URL. I will try this first as the direct link John mentions is not so clear to me.

To other's who replied many thanks for your comments about the car!

I just wonder if this is too much information in URL?

Oh dear looks like another failure! On other forums I have just uploaded from my documents with no problems. Does this site take the URL from Photobucket direct from the information between the IMG tabs? Have I put too much info there? What did you do Andy exactly to get my picture up on the forum page? I must be nearly there do you think??

Sorry for being incapable!

Roy - did you manually type in the URL address between the tags ?

If so, you made a couple of mistakes - you added a 1, omitted a . & added a ? at the end:

[img]http://i1443.photobucket.com/albums/qq153/royalan_pics2009/2008_0202porsche356a0017.%20jpg?[/img]

- correct those & you'll get your picture displayed !

Roy - when you are looking at your picture in Photobucket, 'right click' on it & you'll see this:

click on 'properties' at the bottom of this drop-down menu & you get this screen appear:

- the highlighted address is the one you need to copy & paste onto the DDK page (between the tags
