It would be no joke to say I have spent about 4 hours in various Paint shops looking for my cursed Aetna Blue shade ....

I had no luck what so ever looking through books, chips etc, on line, so I spent 20 mins on the phone (mobile-ouch) talking to Mike at Stoddards body shop in the US, who managed to give me a coding.
This coding was out of date still, so I had new info to look online and found this link- I hope it helps some people out there, I have yet to go into ordering some, and it is a 2k system. Still, it might be a godsend to some people (like me !)

apart from there isnt a formular for adriablau metallic, i,ve really struggled getting the correct shade for that

He can make a sample up for you to colour match to. This is how I got heron grey for my B.

I used Willhoit as well. Mixing Silver 608 from the code came up with a completely different shade to the sample that Willhoit provided - we went with the Willhoit card and matched to that.

I took my dash top off the 912 on the weekend only to find a bit off writing from 1965 in chinagraph.

Because my German isnt up to much anymore i maybe thought it was the guys name who built or signed off the car.
Looking at that paint code chart its the colour its painted HELL ELFENBEIN.

Thats the colour its going back to, i did like the Tangerine though, but thought it would be better to paint it the OG colour.
