This is a Porsche Spyder 718RSK which is based on the 1958 model. This has been built as a track car and has a 2165cc fuel injected & turbo engine, which moves fast as it is only a 450Kg car. Golf GTi disk brakes have been added around the car to stop abit faster. The car is based on a vw beetle and has a shortened floor pan, which is solid and rust free.
As this had been built for a the track I have not MOTed it, but everything is working and the only item left to do to for mot is the handbrake cables to be modded to the GTi rear disks and fitted..
I would say that the interior is nice but just needs to be finished off. The car was resprayed over a year ago but does have some cracking in the paint on the rear engine section and acouple of scatches. I run a body shop and would be happy to get this back to a very good coat of paint at my higher price.
The engine has only done afew hundred miles really and is very clean and fresh, the car was tuned up by race shack and they comfirmed it would do a 10s quarter mile....so fast....or I know is when driving it, it goes VERY fast and get there VERY quick
.As for price I would be happy to finish the car off with a MOT and the paint refreshed for £10000, but a large deposit would needed to be to do so.
If bought as is I would be happy to sell the car for £7500, so a large saving, but time is not in my side.
If you would like to test drive the car that will be no problem.
