More Carter Handiwork

Not really a restoration so much as a little bit of tinkering, but hopefully interesting nonetheless...
It became apparent that the later SC based twin plug distributor and even Porsche turbo engine tin don't really like one another when Charlotte's car returned from the engine rebuild:


So a trip to Mr Carter was required to put things in order. First a slight modification was required to the offending obstruction:


And then a little bit of heat to melt it all together:

Barry's clearly perfected the 'fingers crossed' technique for making sure all will look good when finished:

And on this occasion the results speak for themselves:


Just need Mike to send me one of those original bolts with the K on the end to finish the job off properly
