Finally- its all one colour !

well after nine odd years in all colours of the rainbow, I finally got to spray the first filler Primer coat .
Having spent ages on other things- usual story- 3 new jobs, 3 new workshops, and a distance of a 240mile round trip to work on it, I was finally able to think 'sodit' it was ready for a proper coat of paint.
(Id initially used Halfords rattlecan primer over the bare metal because it was gradually getting surface rust- the roof especially)
My Dad- bless- went to a couple of local agents before he was able to pick up some 2k filler primer. I dont know what brand it was- Ill find out- but it was a 4:1 ratio and sprayed beautifully. Seriously, I have used various types in my job and this paint went on amazingly well considering I was using my old compressor, and sprayed in a barn with the doors open ( I did wear a mask)
Another major step forward was finally getting the flywheel fitted to the engine. The flywheel was sent over to me from a US evil-bay purchase a year ago, just to give an idea how long this is all taking ;-(
When moving to Hove I had the engine in storage with our furniture, so when our furniture was taken out of storage ( a year later!) I had the movers put the engine in the boot of the car as I wouldnt have lifted it in there on my own- where it stayed for another month! (poor car)
I was able to drive up from Hove in East Sussex anti clockwise on the m25 and dropped by at PR Services where I met the team. They did a 'whilst I wait' on fitting the flywheel as well as a quick check on the valve clearances- Many thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
