flasher unit on t-5

My early t-5 just has wires that connect to the unit. However my cars loom has been chopped left right and centre. The later t-5 that I have been working on has a black socket under the dash and we think it used to be the flasher socket.
What do you all think?

My 1960 t5 RHD has black socket under dash for flasher unit.

Mike, thanks. Very helpful. My RHD t-5 loom has obviously been chopped about. Could you supply a picture so I can see where the socket should be?
LHD looks totally different under the dash.
