Hi, I noticed this 1963 356 outlaw in silver which was recently sold in the classified section. I'm kicking myself I missed the ad as it looked like something I would be very interested in buying.
I'm wondering if anyone might know what price the seller was asking?
I've PM'd and emailed the seller but I've had no reply.
In the interests of politeness and privacy for the seller and new owner you might like to PM or email me if you know what the asking price was. I'm genuinely interested in how much a car like this is likely to cost.
I hope I'm not breaking any rules by asking this question here. If I have please let me know and I will of course remove the post.
Many thanks,
Rich

Hi Rich. It was up for 22 from memory. Nice car, not sure about the tints though..
Whats the story behind your signed RS?

Thanks Johnny,
£22K seems like a good price for that car? Am I right?
You asked about my RS. The original owner was a design engineer who had connections with the Porsche Factory. In 1993 he asked Ferdinand 'Butzi' Porsche to sign the engine lid, which he did. It was then lacquered and is still very clear today. I have photos of the car being signed in the carpark at Porsche, and also a letter from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart which they sent to me last year confirming they know of very, very few cars in the world signed by FA Porsche - they advised me to look after it!

I think 22 is not far off the mark I reckon -lots of work done but it was patched not restored..but having said that should be a long time before it needs doing properly.
Mike, search me about th stripes. All I know is that every MINI/Punto/Fiesta/Swift have em now..from the factory, never mind all the other DIY stripey disasters kicking about. Its put me off striping mine I have to say..

Evening Johnny, exactly right, just when I thought stripes were the coolest move ever and I was just discussing with myself whether they were going to be Dolphin Grey or whatever, It seems every other scooty car has them. Shame.
Mike.

When you are Pit Crew being able to pick out `Your Car` as it approaches is not as easy as you might think and it is even more difficult now with all the safety fences
Stripes and colours make life a lot easier and of course, it looks cool as well. provided there is a little bit of art in you
