As far as I was aware from my mate who did my car he just was making sure it was not running too rich to wash the boors and then maxing sure it wasn't too lean. Most guys who use these machines all day will have some idea of what is the right level. I could be wrong and there could be set limits that the factory tired to get..
All I know is my MOT man says my car is about as good as a 1995 car every time I ask what's it like..can't get better than that he says

If you mean carbon monoxide (ie CO) the Factory Technical Specifications booklet states 1.0 - 1.5 % for the swb 912 models.

will see in an hour or so
i know its been rebuilt at some point and i have just serviced it and rebuilt the carbs and put pertronix on it and plug etc..
dont know if it has 1584 or 1720 B/P's on it though because i have'nt been that deep into the engine.
would 1720 B/P's make that much difference to BHP ?

just had a quick run and engine is making about 87 BHP @ 5500
need to do some more power sweeps and get the timing smack on but well happy with that

yes so looks like you have a nice standard Engine 87 is as good as it gets standard. So with some some mods I am sure you could get alittle more. But I would be happy with that.. get out there and enjoy!!!
