Rear view mirror mounting

I have seen later type rear view mirrors which slot into a spring clip which I guess is glued to the windscreen? Is this a Porsche style or something more generic, and is it possible to just buy the clip?

I have a clip somewhere (the one that glues to the glass) It came on my new screen so I removed it
