DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Something I've been meaning to look at for ages - my passenger side mirror glass doesn't adjust. Its just stuck in one (very useless) position. Any pointers/cautions before I start to poke about?

Also, just noticed that said mirror is positioned on the car much more toward the back than the driver's side - is this normal?

Yes the mirrors are slightly forward or back on the doors depending which side the wheel is on.

Seem to remember it never really stayed in one useful position, should imagine a part dismantle and lube would do wonders.
