Wheels, seats and other mods - suggestions please?

OK, so I've managed to stop myself selling my 356C and getting something else as I regularly do, so its time to start turning the old girl from something a bit girly into something a bit more hardcore!
The bodywork is generally good, but will get a repaint and sort out some minor issues when I've completed the rest of the work and shes now working perfectly thanks to the rebuilt motor, recon carbs and electronic ignition.
So first off she will get a lowering job, just a couple of inches, but at the same time I want to lose the standard wheels, so I'm looking for suggestions other than fuchs? And tyre size on a lowered car, 185/65?
Secondly the interior has been beautifully trimmed in beige leather, but under hard cornering I keep sliding off the seat! I want to get a pair of period sports seats trimmed to match, so again I'm looking for suggestions other than Speedster buckets, as I'd prefer them to be adjustable.
I'm aiming for the weekend racer look, so any other suggestions gladly received, I'd love to go daft and put a cage in etc, but I have to leave room for the kids!
