Bumper Trim and fuel pump

Greetings from Singapore.

We are trying to get my car completed but just cannot get the bumper trim fitted on the rear bumper - I bought a new complete trim from Stoddards and although the front one was a squeeze we got it on, the rear one however just won't go. Anyone else had the same problem or are there any tricks to fitting?

And...

The fuel pump has sprung a leak, the car is running a 356B motor, what are these fuel pumps like to repair?

Thanks for any help,

Mark

Fuel pump repair kits are readily available, so you shouldn't have a problem.
With regards to the bumper trim they are a bit tight to put on (I have just put new ones on my B), are you sure you have a rear trim and not two front ones, as they are different?
The front one is shorter (I think) than the rear one.

Agreed Pump kits are very easy, buy a refurb kit ( set of diaphams ) all done in 1hr . Have no idea on trim.

I'm not Jealous your in the warm :?

Thanks guys. Fuel pump sounds good, I was worried that I'd have to source NOS!

Bumper trim is a pain - part numbers are diffferent but I swear they are the same - maybe that's the problem? I'll take a look as I am in Dubai this week.

Yeah, it is a bit warm here, I shall consol myself by the pool with a cold one 8)
