Just managed to arrange a good discount on a range of cast iron solid fuel log burners/stoves. This is not something I do as a business but having a family in the furniture business helps with the contacts. Just helps keep the Porsche on the road ;)

http://www.fireplaces-radiators-stoves. ... Stoves.pdf

plain cast iron/gun metal £400

enamelled - all colours £480

can delivery anywhere within Derbys/Notts/Leicester region otherwise collection only from my house in Derbyshire.

These are nicely put together and cost about £200 less than anywhere else.

Just need to confirm a price for the matching flue pipe.

BTW, I don't do a fitting service, but any half competent DIYer or builder shouldn't have a problem.

see link above for more details/colours

I'll put you down for one then ;)

Funny you say that, my dad has one in his workshop, surprising what a difference it makes in such a drafty shed.

you'll struggle to find better for cheaper. Let me see what other models I can get, maybe get a cheaper one.

Probably. So will be putting up with cheaper for cheaper. Bet we never use the ruddy thing anyway. I'm a geordie and it may be -5 outside but still doesn't seem cold to me....
