don't short shifter's shorten the life of your synchro's a bit?
Does the factory short shift kit fit early 911?

mine is a weltmeister kit i cant see how it would shorten your life of your gearbox.
no way would a berg or any vw shifter fit a 12/11 i think you can get them from the states about £60 well worth it

I think I'm going to have to get a short shift kit of some kind as I think if i leave the gear lever as is it will hit my new seats once fitted.
I'll d some research on best prices if you're interested too Flat 4?

So when you say short shift so you mean sawing off about 6" from the gearstick?
I mean what the hell is first gear doing all the way over there.
Sounds like a tempting purchase for the 11 (915 box)-
