Must be free, road legal and cope with a 110 mile a day commute while my engine is being finished. Just heard it's going to be another 4-6 weeks. :( Can't complain though because it is a friend doing me a massive favour. Ah well, it'll be great when it's done...

Joking obviously about the free car bit, but I may well have to buy a banger to tide me over for the next month, so if anyone has anything going cheap, let me know. Any make. Any colour. Well, almost any colour...

Martin,

I know of a 1994 saab 900S 2.0 new generation (ex hot66) going for three times nothing; in really good nick.

It sold on ebay mid january but the buyer didnt turn up. Taxed until end of feb, i can ask the owner to send you more info. (I used it for a year and had disk brakes+ pads, exhaust, pulley's, all oils and filters, tracking and and and done.)

It went, stupidly enough on ebay for £350 whilst it was advertised on pistonheads for £325

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/335851.htm

all the best,

Quite tempted by another Saab myself at that price myself. Thing is I'd need a garage for the Porsche before that happens.

Seems like a lot of car for very little money. I'd seriously consider something like this and probably will do at some stage in the future - when I sell my combination woodworking machine and buy a welder.

Bert - you still seeing Chris tonight?

If so it's a pair of Elephant Racing Monoballs (for front)

Cheers

Mark
