As it says, wheel arch liners wanted for '72 911.

I'm going to order some Lokari's in the next week, but thought it was worth a double check to make sure no-one's got a surplus set first :) .

I could do with some of these also, would it be worth trying for a group buy to see if we can get some discount? Anyone else?

Got some :) Good stuff.

As long as you don't mind a bit of a fitting challenge and the brackets could be better.

It's not that shiny under there now!

Right, I've e-mailed Thomas to see whether they can do a group deal.

I'm pretty keen to sort something before Christmas, as I'm hoping to get the car back into the workshop during this time.

The other alternative is that I could template up from my car and produce a run of them, but TBH, it would be hard work trying to match Thomas's prices, although just about do-able. On balance though, he's got to be the best bet, even if they are a little crude in places (seals, cut-outs and brackets).

As Gary has said before, it all comes down to how much time and effort you want to put in to fettling, scribing in, and mounting them. Again, I can't really see how to improve the mounting system at the moment, so no worderful suggestions I'm afraid  .

Anyway, I'll update here as soon as I hear anything. If we were to do a group buy, it might be most practical to organise a DDK referenced discount, so that we can order, and pay seperately, but all at the same time. :)

If you have a '72 911 when you order ask for a little additional edge protector. On the '72 you have to cut the liner to clear the pipes in the wheelarch and it's nice to cover the edges up again.

If you were a bit nearer, I'd have those from you, as it is it'll be a bit too far to travel  . Good price as well ....

Thanks anyway :) .

Hi Y'all: Thoms has mailed back.

He can only do a 10% discount, assuming an order of around seven sets, which is fair enough, but would only be able to deliver them late January at the earliest.

From my point of view, it's a bit late for me, so I think I'll probably end up making a set.
