Throttle slider wear...

Heres one to look out for....
This came off of Martin's Crystal Blue 912 yesterday. The throttle linkage had been incorrectly adjusted, which combined with a lack of lube & 40 years of use, caused the end of the slider to wear paper thin.
With a very light tweak, it snapped.
A definite show stopper! (Now replaced and correctly adjusted)
I've seen similar wear before, but never to this extent. Might be worth checking yours
