Under the arch / Horn Question...

Should my 912 have two horns? I.e one underneath each wheel arch?

It certainly has one under the right hand side wing but nothing under the left.

It does have two wires hanging out down there and just wondered what they are there for?... can anyone shed any light onto it?

thanks in advance.

Del.

test fitted a random horn to those two connectors the other day and it worked when i pressed the horn in the car.

so my next question is:

they are obviously twin horns with one high and low?

How do i know which is which and which one i need? And finally, where is the best place to get them?

Ask Nick Moss , Alan UK or Buzz 808 as they take these apart and may have some spares. Not sure on which is which but I am sure they are marked in some way..

also Surfer I think has a shed full of an old 911 he took apart

I think that 1 horn was standard fitment - the second was an option but the right hand side section of the loom was always present.
