Last year Phil Taysom hosted this event, at his house in Yorkshire.
i would be prepared to host this years, if anyone interested?
now my house isn't (anywhere near) as big as Phils but i have loads of parking and i am in the midlands so might be a little more central for everyone.
alternativly, i could see about aranging a xmas meal somewhere ?

looked into goin somewhere for a evening xmas meal but it all seemed to b a bit formal (PCGB) can't say that sort of thing really appeals (?)
i really enjoyed what Phil did last year (chillie & baked potatoes) as it was so relaxed. kids welcome.
so hows about 9th december from 11pm at my place. (Ashby-de-la-Zouch) i just need to know numbers.

Pretty sure that will work for us - are you going to set up a future events thread for this (or have I just missed that whilst trying to catch up).

i am just asking(before plans are made) if this would be of interest to anyone instead of curry or chillie at my house,
11am Meet at Donington Motor museum
1.30pm(ish) short drive to local inn for xmas meal (£11.95 for 2 courses £13.95 for 3 courses )
this is more flexable for numbers as both venues have huge car parks. so i could advertise it in the events section.
downside is i would need menu choices and money in advance for the grub.

Still happy to go with the flow although that's turning into a mighty busy weekend for us:
7th - Works XMAS bash in London
8th - Engagement party in Warrington
9th - Helen & Larry's (or thereabouts)
Glad I have a nominated driver at the moment
