Hi.... decided to sell my 911T at Ragley Hall (Warwickshire) on Sunday September 9th. Coys Auction.

Check out Coys Link....

http://www.coys.co.uk/auctions/lot.php? ... 5&id=48494

The 73.5 911T was only built for the US market and only between January and July 1973. It is the very last of the Lightweight Classics to be built and benefits from the largest of the Lightweight engines (2.4 Ltr) the 915 5-speed gearbox and CIS K-Jetronic fuel injection. Originally from California and shipped over in 1991 when it was converted to RHD for the UK market.

In 2005 a previous owner, carried out, a full restoration on her and last month I took a trip to meet the nice chaps at Autofarm and the car was treated to precautionary hydraulic chain tensioner surgery.

Tax and full MOT. Would make the perfect base for an RS Lightweight which, if Autofarm's commentators are anything to go by, appears to be "flavour of the month".

I have now put a deposit on a 914!!! As my next Porsche to enjoy !!!

Happy Bidding (in anticipation)

OOOOOppppssssss............. Altered the paragraph.

I am sure the previous owner will be happier my describing the car. It would be just my luck if he had, in fact, had some personal health issues that I had just brought to everybodies attention.... !!!!!!! :?

Hi Helen,

Coys are offering a special offer to Porche Club GB Members.

£100 +VAT Catalogue insertion fee (which you have missed as the catalogue has now been printed and despatched). Normally £350+VAT

They charge 5% + VAT (Porsche Club GB) on the Hammer price (normally 10% +VAT). That's about it.

They estimate a hammer price range and you can elect to place a reserve, so long as it is within the estimate range or under.

I am confident that they will still take your car as a "Late Entry". Normally they will add an A4 info sheet about your car to the catalogue.

Telephone Coys: Gregor Wenner, Nick Wiles or Edward Briger-Stille on 0208 614 7888

Tell them you are interested in adding your 914 as a "Late Entry" and they will advise accordingly.

You can take your 914 to Ragley Hall on friday or saturday. If you are not a Porsche Club GB member then speak to Gregor Wenner and tell him that you are associated to Lot 146 (Simon Hawkesley from Rugby) and could you have the same discount. I am sure he'll oblige if you are not too late.

Hope this helps
