arrr yes I think I remember this car a few years back.. seamed a nice example if alittle tired. But That's Patana it's priceless.. looking great.!!

I know I am getting very sad at this even cars over seas..

I will just check out some past photo;s I think it's the car that was at one of the shows I was at in the car park..

great 60's colour.. I do hope this Baby gives me a new hobbie!! that or I will pass on years of porsche car history to him or her and they will be worse than me!!!

Very nice, loving the colour, particularly those caramel (?) seats.

The cabin must feel really airy in comparison to an all black interior like I have.

Thanks for the comments boys, good to know I’ve the support, would be good if any of you lads had any photo's of the car at meetings you may have attended to see what kind of condition it was in, was just wondering if some of the dents and knocks it seems to have picked up were from it time in USof A or picked up here, I'd like to ask NSK if that's his car that's on his reply to me, if so what’s the colour of it? it looks a little darker than the aga blue that was a period colour at the time, you can see where this is going lads and that not to keen on the colour as i would prefer a darker colour as i have 10 cream coloured cow hides that i got off of e-bay last year to do up my 74 Karman Ghia that i had but never got round to. i think the colour combo would suit the car down to a T. On saying that I have just seen photo’s of my colour of car done right and it does stand out but it had Fuchs on and this did seem to make the difference, I thought this would be the easy bit picking a colour but its not been the case …Until then lads Keep the Faith …Allan

mine's Albert Blue - it originally started life as Bahama Yellow I believe but has always been the blue whilst I've owned it which I really like so will be keeping it that way.

The Albert Blue is a little brighter than the Aga blue I think and in my opinion really brings out the shapes of the car. I've PM'd you a couple of shots.

Hold on a mo I might be getting mixed up here.. NSK was your car the one with the Andy Prill Engine bought from Gosport from a guy called George who sold it to a guy in Basingstoke and then you got it..

If that is the right car in my mind then your car has been RED for some time eg when it was imported from Ca and for about 3 years when in the UK..

I got mine from a young guy in Stoke Newington who hardly used it at all as he worked for some oil firm over in the far east a lot.

Prior to that if I recall correctly it was owned by another guy in east london and it was he who imported it from California if memory serves me correctly.

I've definitely found traces of Bahama Yellow and actually of what looks like irish green too so i guess it's been a bit of a chameleon over the years.

It is fascinating tracing the origins and lifetime of these vehicles. I've got the original dealer service book with stamps etc - when I have more time i may well take a leaf out of your book and try and track down the original owner.

go for it check them out.. that's how I found my Orginal owner..

yep i think i will do now - a weekends googling and emailing beckons I think
