Speedo cable length

Is a LHD speedo cable shorter than a RHD one ?

luckily when it arrived it was actually the exact same size

Tim, I recently purchased a new speedo cable and sleeve for my RHD from Stoddard and at the time it never occured to me that they might be different luckily when it arrived it was actually the exact same size
