MET SOME OF YOU GUYS AT THE SILVERSTONE CLASSIC?

Post by DIRKBROWNFINGER »

Thanks to the guys I met the other weekend - nice and approachable, unlike some owners clubs! I was looking around the purple/blue Targa that Autofarm were selling? It turns out they didnt buy the car at the auction on friday, they were selling it - but it didnt infact reach its reserve, so it was back up for sale. Nice car - but as you said, top money.

Anyway I am looking for a pre 73 Targa if anybody knows of one for sale probably a T or hopefully an E/S.

I didnt catch your guys names unfortunately, but thanks for you time.

Cheers.

Dirk.

Hi Dirk, we spoke at length on Sunday morning - likewise I saw that they did in fact put it in the auction and not buy it from it! Very nice car, but worth shopping around.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. Enjoy!

Hi :)

I think I was chatting to you too . Mine was the light yellow 2.4S at the campsite.

Good luck with the car search. Any questions about any cars just ask away :)

Cheers for the welcome - I already have one Targa being offered to me, not bad after 2 hours on the forum!

The username is my name from the cobra replica forum and it goes back to our days at Le Mans. It has kind of stuck since then!

Cheers
