Arm rest wanted

Post by dogbower »

Hi my car has miss matched arm rests, dont know why or even what is correct for my year, 1971 911.

I am looking for a rest to match the offside one, I will then have the one off my nearside door available if anyone wants one, think its from an earlier car.
Doesnt need to be mint, the odd crack would be acceptable.
Thanks Stuart.

That explains the difference, doesnt make pulling the door closed any easier though. :(
Still would like one, surely my one without handle would save a coupe of ounces for you guys wanting to save a bit of weight.

Hi,

Left hand side arm rests with the grab handle are pretty rare as they were only available on RHD cars. Your car is also missing the door pockets, which is what many use as the door pull.

As Alan says, the handle you are looking for is rare and very sought after in the USA, so expect to pay as much as £200 for a good one.
