Washer Pump

Post by 23e Heure »

Boy oh boy was the weather WET on the drive back from Le Mans.
Driving rain, fog and standing water on those French autoroutes..
Not the time you want your washer pump to pack up!

Don't know how much these are new, so in case someone tells me these fall into the 'overpriced parts' thread,
does anyone have a good s/h one?

Cheers.

don't know if they are the same as later cars but the one fitted to both my post 1976 cars have been about £30 to replace with genuine part. Although I found that a Merc and Volvo item are the same and fitted one from a scrapper initially until that broke. Also the water in the resevoir had turned to jelly in the bottom, that didn't help.

Ahh, that's a relief.
I guess I should have looked before posting, but when you've got the DDK, who needs google!
Thanks guys.
