Time has come for me to sell my 72 2.4S - love the car but being based on Jersey sadly offers me few roads to really enjoy the car to anywhere near its potential and I am getting bored of the same old roads !!

Heaps of history ( ex Calaifornia ) , great condition , non original seats , RS front spoiler , otherwise I am lead to believe all else as it should be. 104k miles , extensive rebuild by Porsche specialist. All work documented and photographed.

Price ? Happy to be guided by buyers - perplexed as to current market with hugely differing values. I believe this one to be in great condition ( for a car that is 35 years old !) and local Porsche specialist concurs with my thoughts...then again he would as I just paid him to service the car !

Piccies will follow , just need to sit down and work out how to post them !

:alien: Hi Beaks looks like I can help you on both fronts as I am a leading authority of classic Porsche values !
I can truly say that on a good day with a strong following wind a real fanatic might pay as much as £ 3000 for your motor.
As it happens I have exactly that sum of money in my cash only ISA savings plan. I could pay you in used notes as a nods as good as a wink to a blind bat. So what do you think ??

it was a PCGB trip in 2005, had a great time. mine was the Cayenne by the waters edge.. got a bit worried when the water started to rise and i couldn't move untill the others got out of the way.

so would the car have to re-registered for the UK (sorry if thats a stupid question)

Could somebody put me right on this as I am getting confused - not hard I know.

Obviously a 72 due to rear oil filler cap but why round wing mirrors and black horn grilles also no bumper overiders. Were there little spec changes for different parts of the world?

Are the rear overiders all chrome or do they have the rubber strips?

My 72 has overiders but to be honest I think it would look better without, I was thinking I could just take them off and renew the rubber strip - any thoughts?

Jay :)

ps. would love her but something tells me my numbers need to come up first!

It looks like the car has had a few mods over the years so I wouldn't worry about the indicators and horn grill being black instead of silver. Could you email me some more pictures please? nick@early911.co.uk
