been inching to do some felting to the car for a while now.. Even though it;s the spare engine It got me to Le Mans and back ok, now I will need it to go to Scotland and back.. So with this in mind I have wanted to give it a going over. When Andy lightweight911 saw the car in the New Forest I asked him to look at the carbs when I put my foot down cos I felt I was losing power and he said the carbs only go down about 40% so I knew it needed much ajustment..

so i did this afternoon after doing my decorating.. ( boring work ) and balanced the carbs again and also tighten up all the lose parts to the accelerator pedal and it;s as tight as a nats arse, The car flys now.. WAY much faster and smoother than before..

Some times those jobs you put off just need doing..

might need to go for a run tomorrow now.. 8)
