Carpets do I dont I

trying to make a semi outlaw of my 912 have replaced floors and repainted it all in gloss black inside was goin to run without carpets now im not so sure.The original stuff like rotten carpet wasnt good so it came out and wentin skip
So any input on whether to run rs style carpets without rear seat or opinions on where to buy some and rough ideas on prices??
Sorry for all questions but i just dont know

Is your 912 a swb or '69 lwb version ?

How about as a step up from bare metal, using black ribbed rubber matting. I am pretty sure you can buy it from Woollies Trim.

No Carpet atall..
Press some Ali Steets with counter sunk holes ( like the GT40 seats ) for floor plates go for the whole one off thing..

hmmnn now that idea i like ali floor mats wonder who i could get to make them???
think i would still carpet where the rear seats should be for tidyness sake
I was goin to run completely stripped out but could put up for ever cleaning the blood orange floor,so i repainted it all black and decided to part carpet rs style as back seats are goin floor to be decided

If and when I do my 911,its gonna be no carpets,no sound deadning,no glove box,radio clock etc etc!
But you could do half and half,some carpeting and rubber matting
