Ian, did you replace the 5 speed with a G50 6 speed? Is any rebuild work required?

yes , car being convertyed to 6speed in 4 weeks .

Ian, I'm considering swapping out my 915 for a 6 speed to match my 993 NVR engine - any chance of describing your conversion and some photos.ian c wrote:six speed now in !!!

hi
dont really know what would be involved going from a 915 , but the conversion from g50 5speed , to g50 6 speed is pretty straitforward .
if you use a 993 c2 box , it bolts straiyt in , if not you needd to buy a 993 c2 box nose-cone .
993 linkage is then used .
i think this is about it !!
i ended up letting 9m do the conversion as i am working abroad and need the car to be roadworthy the minute i landed back in uk for lemans .
i did initial research on rennlist forums .
i would recommend this , but 964 forum rather than 993 forum .
if i can help anymore , in any way , i will be glad to .
