I have a pair of 993 heat exchangers in good shape and also a brand new M&K muffler to suite these HE's. This is a very good setup for 993 conversions and also for 964 and 3.2 transplants with the flanges flipped on one of the HE's.

The flanges have been removed on the left exchanger ready for re-welding the other way round to work on a 3.2. The muffler is brand new never fitted it comes with a side exit tail pipe and also two additional under valance tail pipes (not welded on yet) basically because I couldnt make my mind up at the time of ordering so ben at M&k supplied me with both options. So it could also be used as a tripple exit pipe as others on the board have done recently.

Can I ask why you've changed your mind on these - sounds like a good idea for my 3.2. Is there an issue with maintaining heat - i.e. does it stop you having heating?

Can I also clarify, is your M&K basically a two in, single out at the moment then?

Im thinking of ditching this setup because im converting the 3.2 into a 3.0 MFI motor so ideally I want to run SSI's so that I have the warm up stat air supply and also the 993 HE's are a bit on the big side for the SC heads ill be using.

Good question on the heat, I know some people on pelican have this setup and have heat on ther 3.2's however im not sure if they backdated the heat to the dual heat sockets (this is what I was going to do with this setup) or if they used the 993 heater pipe. I think pelican would be the best place to look for an answer on this.

And yes currently dual in single out.

Unless you can modify the 3.2 heater splitter tube to fit, I have one of these I can throw in if your interested to have a go at hacking up and modifying.

Thanks for the additional info Steve - looks like more than I can afford at the moment both in time and money - will be concentrating on the suspension for the next year so whilst tempting I've got to prioritize things a bit
