Disaster! Ive managed to break my 914 windscreen
does anyone know if these things can be sourced by
Autoglass or will I have to find a used one?

If you do a search on DDK there are a few sources for new screens all easily available so dont worry.

Thanks for that, just had a look and I now realise sourcing one
won't be as much of a problem as I first thought PHEW!

i got mine replaced easily enough through autoglass - had to wait a few days as it came from holland or somewhere. would have cost me about 800 quid if i hadnt claimed though

Cheers kev don't think my cheapskate insurance policy will run to £800 it only
covers me for £250 windscreen cover.
Looks like I'd better get on the phone!

I bought one from a local supplier for £110 (without fitting). They had to order it, took about four days.
