Hello, I have a type 4 engine under the bench, assembled crankcase, pots and heads. No tinware, or ancillaries. Yours for £50. I will have a look this evening and get the number from it if you like.

Will do. I have no idea why the engine was taken out of the car, I got it with a load of other stuff years ago and kept it with the intention of rebuilding it myself but I could do with the space! Will get the number. I will be out this evening, so if I run out of time will post the details in the morning.

Hi Folks,
Sorry, the engine is a 1.7 number WO 199188. Which makes it a late '71-72 vintage.

Hi Paul,
Yes, still have it. Will try and do some pics this evening. As I said before it is crankcase, pots and heads only.

Here are some pics of the engine, it's been under my bench for a while so it's a bit 'dusty' to say the least. I know nothing of the history, as I said before I got it with a load of other stuff about 5 years ago. The negine number shows it to be late 71, early 72. So, here's the pictures...hopefully.
