Hi, all...new member here. I have a 1973 911E with an engine that I've built to 2.7RS specs. It's great fun to drive on both the street and track (DE). The suspension have been stiffened a bit with 22/29 torsion bars, 19 (adj.) front and 15 mm rear sway bars. Here's a picture of my car at play.
and another at rest.
See you around the ddk board.

Hi Jim! Welcome to my fellow Aubergine owner!
Good to see you've "crossed the pond", your car's looking pretty mean these days!

Welcome Jim - does Burgundy Red count as Aubergine? If so, I'm with you and Luke

Thanks, all. It's a pleasure to finally make it over here. There looks to be a lot going on here, so, I hope I'm able keep up. "See you" around.

Jim
How does the car ride on rough roads with the beefier torsion bars?

It's not too bad, though the front is a bit too bouncy in the city. It's fine for my track weekends (DE) and countryside driving. Next winter, I'll pull off the shocks/struts and have them revalved by Bilstein which I hope will tame the ride a bit.
