Can anyone tell me the correct tyre size/type for the original 914 2.0 fuchs alloys

165 HR 15 are what ive been told they should be, but cant seem to get them anywhere.

It was me that answered your previous question.

The aspect ratio of the original (non-low profile) tyres was, I think, 82% so currently-available 165/80 x 15 tyres are virtually identical in overal size.

As an example, there are 2 options available in this size from Camskill:

I'm sure there are many other choices...

just checked Longstone Tyres' website & they have several choices in the original 165x15 size:

Try Micheldever Tyres in Micheldever, sort of between Winchester and Basingstoke. Give 'em a call on 01962 774437. Superb set-up there, and I've never ever known anyone beat their prices.

They are very cheap and distribute to many major tyre companies and import the largest amount off tyres into the country!

Are the 165 HR 15 available in a lower profile? they seem a little like tractor tyres.
