Looking for a fuel tank and pump for my 1989 3.2 carrera... other than that anyone know where i can get my existing tank fixed? It has had a small leak on one of the inlet hoses which is now fixed but ive been advised the section where it goes in is corroded and a new tank and fuel pump will be required..
please email me at

Hi Terry,
New tanks are frighteningly expensive, but buying second hand is risky as they often rust from inside out and you can never see how sound the tank is from the outside. I bought a brand new from Mittelmotor in Germany about 5 years ago, give them a go on

Good luck

Dependent on how bad it is, it sounds like a case for POR 15 tank treatment. A ten years repair for £50.00

thanks

No you need one from a motronic car, the earlier cis ones run at a higher pressure. The 964 or 993 pump will also work with the 3.2 this is what I have on mine although they are a different part number. The best place I found for new ones was GSF. £78 + vat

They also come up on ebay quite often but then its pot luck if you get a good one or not.
