My heat exchangers are looking a bit tatty - not rusted out just tatty :?

Thinking of having them blasted and powercoated - but is the powercoat able to withstand the heat :?:

Any thoughts

YES...

I think as I remember Andy of AJP had a set that where done this way and the heat from the oven needed to melt the powder is fairly high and the boys over on www.912bbs.org did this with an old oven and the results where not half bad.. I am looking to do the same..

Then they are done for life..

I have had lots of sets blasted in the past but I then used a high temp paint on them. Not sure about powder coat, but it is worth a try.

Cheers
