Oil line part from '72 911

Post by jamie »

Having problems finding a replacement for this part:

It's the end of an oil line, which attaches through the OSR wheel arch, to the oil filter bracket inside the engine bay, like this:

In order to get it from Porsche, you have to order a whole new line for £250. The rest of my line is in good condition - does anyone have just this part available?

You may be luck: I am pretty sure they are the same as the end sections of the S oil pipe for pre 72 cars. I am sure I used one once for exacty the same reason you need one. I will check tomorrow and if they are I have a few.

I looked all over the world for this part, and it turns out Alan had one. What a legend - thanks!
