Advice please... keeping headlights in place..!

I need help. ( in more ways than one! )
The problem I have is the headlight rims on my '12 are seemingly loose at the top and
occasionally pop off despite the fact they are screwed in 'tight'which lets face it is not good...
I have tried everything: moving the screwhole in the bowl a little bit this way...
a little bit that way... removed rubbers... replaced rubbers, bent ever so
slightly the rim bit that 'bites' onto the bowl retainer, done the hokey cokey...,
and every time it may have got a little better, but I am a fussy
sod and I am not yet happy that they will stay in and not pop out while
driving out and about...
Please help - any ideas/suggestions gratefully received!
