repro 911 door pockets

just recieved a apir of these form einmalig porsche , via ebay and have to say that for £480 landed with shippping and duty they are a very good , non rattling , set of pockets....just wanted to post in case anyone was considering a pair......camera is being serviced so dont have pics and the ones on the ad aren't great ......great finish though and dont lool like cheap copies

Hi Paul - that's good news as I've been considering buying some from them & asked for comments on the Early S Registry a few weeks ago.

What about the aluminium trim along the top edge - how does that look ?

Andy.....well I think its very good , but I answer with some trepidation to your goodself as your eye is tad more experienced than mine !!!.......I will see if I can borrow a camera tommorow and email you a pic.

but for £120 more you can get the "real" thing from Porsche,what do you do??

my understanding of the porsche oem version was that they were £600 each !....these repro ones are moulded plastic too and not cardboard and are lined with felt......it would only be to the keen eye that they were not original.....the repro ones are for the pair....maybe i got the pricing wrong ?

is it possabe to get just the metal trim for the top?

the pockets in mine are in pretty good condition but one id missing the trim along the top edge.
