Hey, I'm interested in an affordably priced book on early 911s that explains the different models and options on the cars. Any help?

100% agreement here, not perfect but very interesting. Another one I like is Chris Harvey's Porsche 911 in All Its Forms. Buy the later version cheap on eBay. The best part about it is it has a great compendium of road test comments for most of the cars over the years, as well some interesting other stuff. Think my copies cost me about a fiver each which is a bargain.pmjt wrote:And for me Peter Morgan's "Original 911" is great - not perfect - but a good read.

Lovely, also love plate thirty; the RSR, one of my favourite 911 pictures for sure. Great book to have a car inpmjt wrote:Chris Harvey always featured the photo of my car - first colour plate, next to page 122
